Independent Church In India helps provide disaster relief in India, Kenya and Pakistan.  Our mission within disaster relief is one of necessity that is needed whenever natural disasters occur. It is another way to show the love of Christ in time of great need.

Reaching Souls Affected By Devastating Flood in Bihar: Through the love and generosity of faithful supporters, ICII was able to reach out to pastors and others affected by the devastating floods in Bihar, Northern India a few weeks ago. ICII was able to provide urgent needs for fifteen faithful pastors. We have provided rented homes for them and their families where they can stay for at least the next two months until the water goes down in their area. Helping these pastors and their families is a great investment because it sustains them through this difficult time to be able to help others in need due to the flood.

One Hundred Families Rescued by Boat! ICII Missionary Pastor Nanda from Bihar shares, “I have been preaching the Gospel for ten years in this area. Many villages have been closing their doors for me to preach the Gospel, and many of them have even tried to attacked me. But I have been diligently praying for the open door in these villages. In this flooding time, hundreds of people were starving and trying to escape from the water. Through ICII’s help we rented a boat and were able to rescue one hundred families in the villages, bringing them to a safe place until the water goes down.  As the boat was traveling to safety each family had a chance to hear the Gospel and that Jesus sent the help for them. Many people came to know Jesus!”
