Living Hope TV Reaching Unreached Tribes and People Groups of India: Independent Church in India (ICII) is operating a cable TV channel called Living Hope TV. Through a local cable network and extensions, this channel is now reaching nearly one and a half million viewers within a radius of about 100 kilometers. We are now broadcasting the Word of God 24/7 in India, being currently the only channel in our area with Christian programming that is available in many unreached villages. These days, more and more villages are becoming closed to missionaries preaching the Gospel. Living Hope TV is going into these villages around the clock and bringing residents the light of the Word of God.

Currently we are airing ICII’s Word-for-Word Video Bible books: the Gospels of Mark, Luke and John; Romans; Galatians; Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1&2 Peter, 1&2&3 John, Jude and Revelation. Through our attractive video footage from around the world showing the beauty of God’s creation, many people have started watching our programs, and they hear the Word of God. His transforming Word never returns void! We also are airing powerful video Gospel tracts, Psalms, daily Bible verses and devotions, Christian songs, testimonies,  sermons and Bible teachings to reach the unreached and encourage new believers and seasoned saints alike. Through Living Hope TV, God’s Word is being published in the villages and bringing light into this utter darkness. Many villagers who never even heard the name of Jesus learn that Jesus is the Name above all names, the Creator of all things. Those who are illiterate can hear God’s Word for the first time!

Mother and Her Children Saved From Suicide: “My name is Kanaga. I was very much in trouble in my village after my husband borrowed a lot of cash from the money lenders. One day, I planned that I and my children would jump from a cliff. Before this, my kids turned on the TV and your  broadcast was playing. At that moment the Bible totally touched my life, so I changed my mind about committing suicide, because I felt there is hope in Jesus! Now I am a believer in Jesus!”

Building the Kingdom of Christ: We have been sending Bibles and Gospel materials for the people who call and accept Jesus as their Savior. Through Living Hope TV over the last two years, God used the discipleship team to establish twenty-five village churches! When someone receives Jesus, ICII’s discipleship team travels to the village for follow-up when possible. Every week our discipleship teams reach out to new believers who received Jesus. Our team has been finding many new villages through the calls coming in each week! Living Hope TV is indeed one of the most fruitful projects in India!
