Good Samaritan Ministry

ICII Good Samaritan Ministry

As Independent Church in India (ICII) preaches the Gospel each day in the remote villages they find many people who are suffering. Giving these poor people help is a great way to show the love of Jesus as ICII is sharing the Gospel to them. ICII provides blankets and rice for poor families. They provide and reach out in love to the homeless and the disabled. ICII helps poor village children with needs as basic as toothbrushes and toothpaste and provide for them notebooks and pencils for school. The Good Samaritan Christmas Fund will help people who are in desperate need, such as disaster victims, orphans, the elderly, the disabled, food for the starving, hut building or repair, blankets, medical help, and much more.

Luke 10:33-34 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him.

How Did ICII Get Involved In Good Samaritan Ministry?

"Maruthayee is homeless. She has no family and no one to take care of her. Most days she goes begging, and can only eat what people are willing to give her or whatever cast-off food she can find on the street. But every week she comes to one of ICII’s church services to hear the word of God, and she can fill her stomach with the only good meal she can have all week. She said, " Many nights i slept with empty stomach, But now i have been attending the church service and having a good food. Thank You."
