ICII's Bible Outreach Ministry
This past year, your prayers and support allowed Independent Church in India to put whole Bibles or New Testaments into the hands of thousands of men, women, and children in India. God’s Word promises that it will never come back void (Isaiah 55:11). The Bible has given new life throughout history and it is still giving new life today!
Missionary James told this life-changing story: "I met a woman in a village who looked very unhappy. I could see that she was hopeless, so I sat with her and told her, ‘I have something for you to read in this book.’ I guided her how to read the Bible and shared with her how Jesus will give her peace. After she started reading the Bible, she began to cry and she shared, ‘My whole family is planning to commit suicide tonight. My husband just went to buy poison right now, and I was just thinking, how can I die and leave my children alone, so we all will plan to commit suicide as a family. God brought you to me at the right time and I want this peace in my family’. She called her husband to come back and I went to their house, read the Bible, and prayed with them, and they changed their mind about committing suicide.' Now they are coming to my church every week and I have started a church in their village!"

Independent Church in India’s native missionaries have given out Bibles in areas all over India. We have expanded our Bible outreach to more states in India. We give out Bibles in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Oriya, and Punjabi languages. Through your loving support, men, women, and children who are hungry for God’s Word are receiving Bibles so they can grow in their spiritual lives. ICII has given Bibles in tribal areas, remote villages, leprosy colonies, and to those who have called to receive a free New Testament during ICII’s TV broadcasts. We have also provided Bibles for students in our Book of Life Village Bible Schools, and New Testaments for children in our Vacation Bible Schools. We have also recently expanded our Bible outreach to other countries including Pakistan (Urdu language), and Kenya (Luo language).
