Indigenous Missionary Program

Missionaries In India

In India, the Lord has raised up the ministry of Independent Church in India (ICII) to be a beacon of light and hope in the midst of a nation in extreme darkness. Independent Church in India’s goal is to train up and support native missionaries to go out into the remote villages to preach the Gospel, reach leprosy colonies, do children’s ministry, start Bible studies and home churches, pray for the sick and needy, and to reach out to the poorest of the poor with food, clothing, medical, and other help. They are fulfilling this goal through holding bible schools, leading teams in the field, and establishing a monthly sponsorship program to help support native missionaries full-time. The ICII Gospel teams have reached thousands of villages in India and have given out hundreds of thousands of Gospel tracts and tens of thousands of Bibles. The village people are instructed how to use their Bibles and they are encouraged to read them daily. The Lord is transforming many souls through his life-changing Word, and tens of thousands are accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

Our Missionary Sponsorship Program

ICII invites you to make an eternal difference in countless lives by becoming a sponsoring partner with a native missionary. Our sponsorship program starts at $30 a month. For as little as a dollar a day, you can team up with and support a native missionary dedicated to sharing the Gospel, planting churches, and starting Bible study groups among the unreached villages in India. 100% of your gift will help to provide the physical needs of a missionary and to help equip the ICII Gospel teams with ministry tools. When you become a sponsor, you and your partner missionary will be working together effectively to fulfill the Lord’s last command.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Mark 16:15

Church Growth In India

Over the past few years, ICII’s churches have experienced tremendous growth. Double services or home churches have been started at some of their churches to help accommodate the number of people who have been coming to the Sunday church services. ICII’s native missionaries go into the villages of people who cannot come to church and are conducting Bible studies in hundreds of villages every week to teach new believers the Word of God. ICII helps to support and send over 160 native missionaries in India. We also support missionaries in the nations of Pakistan and Kenya.

“Go Ye Into All The World…”

In the last command that the Lord Jesus Christ spoke while on the earth, His desire is clear that all people everywhere would hear about the Good News of salvation through Christ. India has over 1.3 billion people, about one-fifth of all humanity in a single nation. There are still hundreds of thousands of unreached remote villages all over India who have never heard about the true Living God!

At Independent Church In India, we have found through years of experience in ministry that the most effective way to carry out our Lord’s Great Commission in India is to raise up more laborers in that vast harvest field. ICII’s main mission is to train, equip and support native missionaries so they can take the good news of Christ into the unreached remote villages and tribal areas; they can bring help and hope to residents in leprosy colonies, start children’s ministries, conduct Bible studies and home churches, pray for those who are sick and hurting; they can provide food, medical help, clothing, and other needs for poor and desperate people.

Our Missionary Team

ICII has established a network of fellowship, leadership and support, with more than 160 indigenous missionaries in the Indian states of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Bihar, Punjab, Rajasthan and Odisha. ICII is also supporting missionaries in Pakistan and Kenya as well. As the Lord provides, we want to keep providing for more missionaries in these three nations.

Through our churches and our discipleship programs like our village Bible schools, we often find those who are called to ministry. When we do, we encourage and equip them to follow that call. We make available further education and ministry training through ICII’s full-time Bible college in India, where fifty students are being intensively prepared for New Testament evangelism, church planting, pastoring, and more.

Hear From Our Missionaries

Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest...

According to Jesus, when the harvest field is ripe, more laborers are needed (Luke 10:2). Your donations will help us train, equip, send and support indigenous missionaries. 100% of donations to this program will be used toward our Native Missionary program.
