Dear Friends of ICII,
Greetings, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We are so grateful to share that work on the Promised Land Children’s Home is complete.
Everyone there expressed how glad they were for the increase in room space and the new lavatories. They also find that having a wall around the orphanage makes them feel more secure. They fervently wished to pass on their thankfulness to those who have helped. Just as He so often does, God has taken what was meant for evil and used it for good. They now have a much-improved home to live in. And most importantly, the experience has helped the children grow in their understanding of God’s faithfulness, and realize the love that so many of God’s people have for them.
Now that construction is complete, aside from a few minor exterior details, and all requirements have been met, we have applied for final approval from the government to operate the orphanage. The local authorities have already granted our request on their part, and all we are awaiting is the state government letter of approval, which we expect early next week.
All of us at ICII are so thankful to God, and to everyone who has been praying and contributing to make this project a success. You have our deepest gratitude for your love and support for our precious Promised Land children.
We’ve also been helping our ministry partners in Pakistan to build their first orphanage as a home for up to 14 needy orphan children. The good news is that right now we have enough funds to finish construction! However, we still need funds to provide accessories (beds, kitchen supplies, lights, fans, etc.). Once we have that, any additional funds we receive will be used for the living expenses of the children at the orphanage in Pakistan, and/or other ministry expenses in Pakistan.
