Independent Church In India’s goal is to buy a piece of land and build homes for these homeless lepers. They have accepted Christ into their lives and have found His peace but they are also in need of their brothers and sisters in Christ to help them to rebuild their physical lives as well. At their own leprosy colony they will no longer have to live on the streets begging or wondering where their next meal will come. Here these lepers can lead a normal life and even work and grow their own crops for food. They can live the rest of their lives at their new home feeling wanted and without starving or begging. At their new home we can get medical provision for them and get them on a medicine that will cure their leprosy.
Look deep down inside of your heart right now and ask the Lord what He would have you do to help those with leprosy. “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?” I Jn 3:16-17
