Book Of Life Bible College
Bible College Ministry
One of the ways that Independent Church in India is fulfilling their vision to preach the gospel in many areas of India is by starting their own Bible Schools.
ICII's Book Of Life Bible College is a two-year training course to prepare students for evangelism, church-planting, and building the Kingdom of God in India. The students board at the school and receive full-time teaching during the days and get practical training evenings and weekends as interns with ICII's missionary teams.
The college has a busy daily schedule with classroom study in the mornings and afternoons. In the evenings and on weekends, students learn by doing as they engage in field ministry for another three hours or more each day.
It cost only $40 per month for a student to attend the Book Of Life Bible College full time!

A Hands On Approach To Biblical Education
The students share that after they came to the Bible school they got clear understanding how to preach the gospel according to the Biblical way. Learning at the Bible School has brought them boldness for speaking to people about the Gospel message of Christ.
Students will go to villages to preach the gospel, start Bible studies, do children’s ministry, reach tribal areas, gypsy people, and tentmakers. They visit hospitals and pray for the sick.

Book Of Life Bible College Student Testimony
The pastors with whom the students are working with are testifying that because of the Bible students, now they have more new believers coming to their churches each week.
A student named Sasikumar shared a personal testimony:
“One day I met a man in a village. While I was doing personal evangelism, he was arguing with me about Jesus. He said that for fifteen years, he had gone on his yearly holy pilgrimages (long walks to worship idols). He said that he had also walked barefooted on fire coals each year for seven years. However, he said that he never found any peace."
This man’s family had a lot of debt, and he got sick and lost his job. Because of this, he was very angry against religion.
At the time, this man was working as a building contractor. I started to talk to him; I said,
"Whatever failure you may have, you should give it to Jesus. He will help you.’ He started to listen to me, so I gave him a Bible. He told me he would read it. So, I said that I would come to his town every week, and if he wanted to know more about Jesus, he could come meet me.
He told me he would come to a church meeting on the same day, and he started to come to the Bible study. He accepted Jesus as his Lord! Some time later, he told me that he got his job again, and that things were going better!”
