Missionary Joseph shared this inspiring testimony:
“One day, I visited a village to preach the Gospel. In this village, everybody worked for daily wages. Everyone from the village would walk to the town to find a job every day, and would return from work in the evening. So, when I walked around the village, I heard a quarreling sound inside one house. It seemed like a husband and wife were fighting about something. I knocked on the door to share the Gospel with them. When they opened the door, I saw a woman holding a gas can that she had poured over her head. She was tired of fighting with her husband, and she wanted to commit suicide. I asked them to calm down, and I shared the Gospel with them. I told them that, if they believed in Jesus with their whole heart, they would have hope for their family! So that day, they both heard the Gospel, and accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior! They told me that, if I hadn’t come that day, they were planning to commit suicide! They had three children who all went out for daily wages, and they don’t want their kids to see them. They openly told me if I weren’t there that day, they would have committed suicide. Now, they have accepted Jesus as Lord of their life, and regularly attend church services!”
