ICII’s Goals and Prayer Requests

1). The Gospel: Please continue to pray for the advance of the Gospel in India, Pakistan, and Kenya, and that hundreds of thousands of souls will accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior through the Gospel work of Independent Church In India (ICII).

2). Native Missionaries: Pray with us that God will continue to increase our team of sponsored native pastors and missionaries in India, Pakistan and Africa, and that their needs will be met so that they can do ministry on a full-time basis. Pray that the Lord will provide our teams with more vehicles, motorbikes and fuel; Bibles, Gospel tracts and media; Bible study books and materials; video and audio equipment for evangelism; and much more. Please pray for God’s protection and strength for our missionaries as they minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ during the severe persecution and economic hardship they are facing in these nations.

3). The Persecuted: Pray for strength, protection, and provision for Christian believers who are experiencing persecution in India, Pakistan, and Kenya, and that God will lead the persecutors of Christians in these countries to accept Christ and to stop oppressing and harming believers and Christian missionaries. Please pray that God will continue to protect ICII from the anti-Christian activities of governments and extremists. Please pray that God will provide for the needs of the persecuted in these nations.

 4). Bible Colleges: Pray that God will protect and use ICII’s Bible Colleges in India and Pakistan. Please pray that the Lord will provide all the needed resources on a monthly basis, and that He will use both of these colleges to train and send forth more laborers into His harvest fields.

5). Video, TV and Bible Study Books: We thank the Lord that tens of thousands have already received Christ through our video Bible presentations on cable TV in India and Pakistan, and that God has enabled ICII to start our own cable TV stations in India and Pakistan. Pray that He will provide for us to prepare and produce more materials for these channels in Tamil (Indian language) and in Urdu (Pakistani language) for these channels. Please pray for us to produce more versions of our Word-for-Word Video Bible books in more languages in India, Pakistan, Africa and other languages around the world. We also need more resources so we can print ICII’s various Bible study books for adults and children in multiple languages in the nations where we are working.

 6).  Freedom Projects: We are thankful that through ICII’s Freedom From Slavery and Freedom From Poverty projects in India and Pakistan, God has allowed us to reach many children and families affected by human trafficking poverty and persecution. Please pray for ICII’s Freedom Schools so we can reach out to more kids who can’t go to school. Please pray that He will protect these programs and provide for ICII to reach more suffering children and families to help them out of poverty, bonded labor slavery, prostitution, all forms of trafficking and help them start self-sustaining home businesses.

7). Children’s Ministry: Pray for resources for ICII to conduct VBS and Bible School programs for thousands of children in remote villages in India, to introduce unreached children to Jesus and teach them how to have a relationship with Him. Pray that God will help us to continue to disciple children through the Word of God, teach them to live godly lives in Christ, and to share their faith with others.

8). Homes and Programs for Orphans: Pray for God to continue to protect and provide for ICII’s orphanages and outreaches for needy children in India, Pakistan, and Kenya, and that by His grace and timing we may give a loving home to even more needy orphans in these nations.

9). Promised Land Leprosy Community and Church Services: Pray that the Lord will provide for all the needs of ICII’s Promised Land Home and our church for leprosy victims, and that He will enable us to reach out to more hurting victims of leprosy.

10). The Needy: Please pray that God will provide for ICII to continue reaching out in compassion to the poor, the hungry, those affected by COVID-19, leprosy victims, the homeless, widows, the blind and the deaf; to keep providing food, clothing, and medical help for those at government leprosy colonies; and to keep giving out bags of rice, blankets, clothing, eye-care for leprosy victims, gift packs for poor children, food and other needs for the persecuted, and other necessities to those who are suffering.

11). Support: Pray that the Lord will give us many new connections with churches and supporters here in the US and other nations to partner with us in the work of the Gospel. Pray that God will continue to provide opportunities for all three senior leaders of our indigenous teams: Pastor Britto (India), Pastor Asif (Pakistan), and Pastor Calvince (Kenya), to be able to continue visiting the US to share their testimonies and experiences with God’s people here. Pray that the Lord will bring us more resources from all over the world to provide for the work of Independent Church in India.
