ICII Reaches the Blind and Deaf  With the Love of Jesus!

defThrough the love and faithfulness of Independent Church in India's supporters, the Lord has opened the door to reach many needy people in India. ICII has missionaries who are reaching the blind and deaf with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. They are also starting churches and Bible studies for the blind and the deaf. They are founding home churches in various parts of India to reach these neglected and forsaken outcasts from society. These needy people are taught the word of God, and many are coming to know the Lord Jesus Christ!  ICII provided “proclaimers”, solar-powered devices that play God’s word for those who are blind at five different church locations. These people who are hungry to hear God’s word can sit and listen through the proclaimers.

I practiced  the Hindu religion. My father and mother died, and then later my husband also died. I had no way to get a job and I began to suffer. But one day Solomon invited me to come to his church so I began to go there and I came to know about Jesus through sign language.  Because of Jesus I am getting new strength every day. I love Jesus and I have new hope. I have a boldness to share with other people who are deaf or who have addictions. Because I have Jesus’ power in me, I have more than a normal person who does not have disabilities!”

ICII Reaching Blind In India

An ICII missionary to the blind named Chandren shares, “One day I went to do ministry and I met a blind man named Amalraj. He had high blood pressure, and kidney and heart problems. I shared the Gospel and the miracles of Jesus. I prayed for him and he believed and accepted Jesus. I kept praying for him and God healed all his diseases, one by one. He and his family are now coming to church!”

What missionaries are saying about Independent Church in India

"To see first hand individuals becoming an extension of who Jesus is in our world today, reaching out to lepers whom society looked upon as untouchable, to provide food and clothing, bedding to sleep upon even if that means sleeping on the side of a busy dirty street filled with all kinds of humanity, animals etc. is the kind of compassion Jesus still has today if He can just find someone to carry His presence and power."                   ................................ Evangelist/Missionary/Author - Dave

In the villages, which have been reached by the ministry team of the Independent Church in India, there is a ray of hope ....... Many of the people have a new hope, which they have found only in hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ.     - US Missionary Kristi
