India is a nation where approximately one-sixth of the world's population resides, yet many have never yet heard the name of Jesus. Even though many live in the bondage of idolatry and fear, after hearing the Gospel, they are often very receptive to forsake their gods and make Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior of their lives.

Independent Church in India's goal is to train up and support native missionaries to go out into the remote villages to preach the Gospel, to do children's ministry, have Bible studies, pray for the sick and needy, and to reach out to the poorest of the poor. The Lord is transforming many souls through his life-changing Word, and thousands are accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Independent Church in India has built an orphanage, and has started a community for homeless leprosy victims in desperate situations. REAPING THE HARVEST - India: a land of two contrasting faces; one shining with majestic beauty, but the other weeping with a multitude of sorrows. A land filled with overwhelming pain and suffering, poverty and disease, rejection and shame. A nation where desperate souls are crying out to over three hundred million Hindu deities. But in the midst of this despair, the Lord is using Independent Church in India (ICII) to preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to reach out to the poorest of the poor in the towns and remote villages of India. At Independent Church in India's newest church, the Lord is bringing His revival and is saving and mending the hearts of those with leprosy, the poor, and the desolate and is transforming them to bring glory to His sovereign name. ICII reached one village with the Gospel that was stricken with utter poverty, diseases, and deformities where people were engaged in Satan worship. Leprosy. Down through the ages, the most dreaded and feared disease of mankind. The sad fact is that leprosy is still thriving in the nation of India and it has victimized hundreds of thousands of people. This disease is often called the "living death" because of its appalling effects on the victim's body, causing gruesome disfigurement, permanent disability, blindness, and untold suffering and shame. These unfortunate people are ostracized by their society, and are the poorest of the poor. Many lepers are made homeless by their own families, cruelly abandoned and cast out into the streets because of their horrifying disease, left alone to suffer and die in their terrible state, heartbroken and emotionally shattered, no one to love or care for them. This Journey May Change Your Life Forever...
India is a nation where the cries of pain, suffering, hopelessness, poverty, disease, and desperation never cease. In the southern part of India in Tamil Nadu, God is revealing Himself and is using Independent Church in India (ICII) in the midst of this utter hopelessness to joyfully proclaim the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in the towns and remote villages and everywhere the Lord leads them to find the lost and hurting souls. Independent Church in India reached the tsunami survivors in a stricken village that had to bury their own family members and were in the most utter of despair, hundreds of survivors were touched and committed their lives to Jesus Christ. Hundreds of children are taught the Bible each week and ICII is bringing hope to those who were once with out hope. Udaiyammal: A Hopeless Leper Finds Hope
United States missionary Kathy A Smith and Pastor Britto from Independent Church In India visit a remote village to preach the Gospel and to help a poor widow with the horrible disease of leprosy, who is utterly struggling to provide for her orphan grandson. After hearing the Gospel and witnessing the Christ-like love and compassion of these missionaries by putting medicine on her leprosy wounds and wrapping up her feet, many in the village including Udaiyammal are touched and commit their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul: Delivered From the Chains of Darkness
At the age of 12, his parents dedicated him to the idol gods. Each week he would also worship snake gods. He would clean the place of idol worship and feed the cobra snakes for the Hindu priest of his village. The people in his village believed that he had the gods living inside him. They were expecting him to become the next Hindu priest of their village. But God had other plans...
