Reaching a Distant Tribal Group

One day, Pastor Richard and the Gospel workers walked over six hours to visit a tribal people. When they reached the tribe, it was getting dark, so the team slept until the morning. The first thing they did when they woke up the next morning was  to share the Gospel to the group. When the team started to preach, some of those who had come to visit the area began to protest, demanding the team to leave.

When the team did not leave, one man ran towards the team to attack them with an iron rod. But the people who had begun to hear the Word of God stopped him. They told him that they wanted to hear God’s Word and told him to leave instead if he doesn’t want to hear it. The man left, but he unfortunately took ten others with him. Over forty people gathered and heard the Word of God. Finally the team gave the tribal group Gospel tracts, bathing soap, and soap to wash their clothes. They also prayed for everyone. The tribal people thankfully told then that they could come back and visit them any time because they want to know more about Jesus.

Six Hundred Hindu Kids Hear the Gospel
One Saturday, Pastor Richard and the Gospel team planned to gather village kids from ten different remote villages so they could preach the Gospel to them. By the Lord’s grace and through the help of ICII’s native missionaries, vans were sent out to gather and pick up the children. By ten in the morning, about six hundred children were at ICII’s orphanage building. All the kids who gathered together came from remote, idol-worshipping Hindu villages.

The precious children at ICII’s orphanage “Home of Compassion” led all the children in prayer. Then the children living at the orphanage presented action songs to the kids that had gathered. The main theme of this children’s outreach was about “Following Jesus”.

It was amazing that all these kids were excited to receive Jesus and had decided to follow Jesus as their Lord and Savior! God used ICII’s ‘Home of Compassion’ kids to share the Bible story and action songs. The ‘Home of Compassion’ orphan children were very happy to share what God had done in their lives. ICII was very excited to see how the Lord is already using the children living at the orphanage to share His love to other children. Even though they have had a dark past full of suffering, the Lord is rebuilding their lives and now they are sharing it with other children who are hopeless. Before they left, each child received Gospel tracts, snacks, and a small gift. These tracts will be very effective for the kids to take home for their parents to read. All the kids enjoyed this Bible rally very much. ICII’s prayers are to reach more kids from different remote villages and show the love of Christ to them.
