Independent Church in India held their first evangelistic seminar of this year at one of the new believers coconut tree yards. The seminar was to equip the believers in the Word of God and teach and encourage them to fulfill Jesus' last command (Mark 16:15). Around twenty-five attended the seminar, and the team taught the biblical and effective way to share the Gospel with their lost friends, family, and in the remote villages and towns. The seminar was also a great time to fellowship and encourage one another in the Lord.

In a past newsletter, related about a young man named Guru's life-changing testimony, which the Lord is using to fulfill His last command. After Guru's baptism, he got the new name Gideon. Many people in his area have mocked him since he became a Christian. They are always saying Hallelujah when they see him in a sarcastic way.

That same evening after attending the evangelistic seminar, Gideon began to share the Gospel with more boldness. Gideon is a tutor to children, and he began to share the Gospel and read the papers to them he had gotten at the seminar. Afterwards, he led the children in the salvation prayer to accept Christ. His tutor boss who is an atheist found out he had done this, and began to complain to him. Gideon's boss told him that from now on he was not allowed to preach to the kids. But Gideon boldly shared the Gospel to his boss also, and that evening a miracle happened! Gideon's atheist boss also decided to make the decision to accept Jesus Christ into his life! He shared with Gideon, "I have never heard the Gospel presented like this before". The children that had also accepted the Lord told Gideon, "Each time you tutor us, please teach us more about Jesus because we want to learn more about him".
