This Christmas season 2007 was very exciting here in India to reach out in the love of Jesus to the poorest of the poor children in the remote villages through giving gift packs. Through the Lord's providence and the generous gifts of those who sponsored this outreach, ICII was able to make over 725 gift packs. The packs contained a New Testament Bible, a Gospel tract, a coloful comic book on the Birth of Christ, a blanket, a notebook and pencil, a toy, cookies, and a toothpaste and toothbrush. These packs have been a great witness of Christ's love to both the children who are receiving these packs and their parents. This is the first time many of these children have ever received a Christmas gift. Many smiles and joyful laughs filled the villages because of caring people who sponsored the packs. Not only were the children very happy to receive these gifts and to know Jesus loves them, but it was a great help to the poor families. New people came to church seeking more about Jesus because of the love of Christ that was shown to the children in the villages through the giving of these Christmas gift packs.
